The International Constitution provides for the election of the International President, the International Secretary-Treasurer, and International Vice Presidents at each Consolidated Convention. When any of these offices becomes vacant between conventions, owing to death, resignation, or retirement, the Executive Council elects someone to fill the position until the next convention. The president and vice presidents make up the Executive Council.
