CRYSTAL LEE SUTTON, the real person behind the lead character in the 1979 Academy Award-winning, pro-union film, “Norma Rae,” died on Sept 11 at the age of 68. Although she had healthcare insurance, her nearly three-year battle with brain cancer left her family with a mountain of bills. Her husband of 30 years has been working two jobs to pay them. Your donation — even a very small one — can help. Let Norma Rae’s family know that union members have not forgotten her contribution. Send something today.
