Betty Reid Soskin retires

Rosie the Riveter icon, civil rights activist and America's oldest National park Service ranger, Betty Reid Soskin, announced her retirement this past April. Soskin, who is a Boilermaker and worked as a file clerk at the Kaiser Shipyards in Richmond, California, retired at age 100. She was a member of a wartime auxiliary lodge at the shipyard.
