Deadline nears for ISO conference

July 13 is event cut-off date

THE DEADLINE FOR local lodges to register for the 2012 Industrial Sector Operations Conference is getting near. July 13 is the final day.

This year’s event will be held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas Aug. 14-16. It is the largest informational conference held by the Boilermakers union specifically for members in the Industrial Sector.

The conference will bring together global and national labor leaders, legal experts, government specialists, Boilermaker International staff, and other presenters for a single purpose: to provide the latest information on political and regulatory developments, day-to-day union operations, and other topics of value to local lodge leaders.

Through workshops and presentations, participants will come away with a fuller understanding of the forces that impact the International, local lodges, and individual members. Attendance provides opportunities to make valuable connections with leaders from other lodges across North America as well as International staff and subject matter experts. Learn what other lodges are doing to deal with their challenges and opportunities.
