LEAP speaker gets own TV show

ED SCHULTZ NOW has his own television show. A veteran talk radio host and defender of unions and “the little guy,” Schultz was the keynote speaker at the Boilermakers’ LEAP conference March 16. His new program, called simply “the Ed Show,” premiered April 6. The program airs weekdays, 6-7 p.m. (EST), on MSNBC. Describing his show to MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann on “Countdown” April 1, Schultz said, “I’m a staunch supporter of unions. I’m gonna be that guy who represents working folk, people who take a shower after work. I think there’s been an attack on labor in this country for the last 30 years.” Schultz said he’ll be talking about “kitchen table” issues, those that working families deal with every day.
